In 2009, PaleoWest was awarded a 5-year on-call contract to carry out archaeological surveys, site evaluations, and other services for the USDA Forest Service’s Region 3. Since then, PaleoWest has supported projects on six different National Forests in Arizona and New Mexico, including nine projects and more than 15,000 acres of survey, largely in remote and logistically challenging environments.
