  Compliance

  We’re experts in completing historic property assessments and evaluations in compliance with the National Environmental Policy Act (NEPA), Section 106 & 110 of the National Historic Preservation Act (NHPA), the California Environmental Quality Act (CEQA), and other state and local regulations.   The United States has a Federal Tax credit for historic properties, in addition to 39 states which have state-specific historic tax credits programs. We assist property owners with the application process and create plans to restore and rehabilitate historic properties and ensure continued compliance with program conditions.

  Historic context documents provide a framework for evaluating properties for historic significance. Our team can prepare historic contexts to support many efforts, including assessing individual projects, historic districts, thematic groups, National Register Multiple Property Documentation Forms, planning documents, and in support of regulatory compliance documents.

  Our team completes National (NRHP), State, and Local nominations of single properties and historic districts.
